Bio
I, Matt Dunnam, am a communications professional with a Masters degree from Drexel University. As someone who has worked in communications, public relations, sales, and marketing, I love the invaluable impact that communications can provide for society at large. I bring creativity, drive, motivation, & empathy to all projects that I undertake. I use an education in entrepreneurship to analyze value, create customer engagement, and connect with clients. I have high standards, a strong growth mindset, great attention for detail, superb organizational skills, and immense appreciation for teamwork and self sufficiency. I genuinely look forward to helping in any way that I can.
Who I Am
I am a driven, creative, and empathetic person. Beyond my work in communications and public relations, I spend a lot of my time working hard to enhance the creative skills and social knowledge I bring to the table. On a daily basis you can find me studying subjects such as psychology, philosophy, business, finance, and health or practicing creative skills by acting, playing music, writing stories, drawing, working out and playing various sports, meditating, or exploring comedy. I believe in giving my all to self improvement because I’ve found that it is so much easier to relate to people when you understand the knowledge and skills that helped to make them who they are.
Where I've Been
So far in my career, I have been lucky enough to work designing home theater systems for Magnolia Audio Video, marketing and selling new products through Marketsource and Guitar Center, and engaging in marketing and digital communications through various acting, music, and production related endeavors. In these positions I have faced obstacles in client management, scheduling and collaboration, coordination of multi-party communication, and with paperwork. Time and again I have proven that I will do whatever it takes to get the job done as well as I can.
Where I Am
Through these experiences, I have obtained a great set of knowledge and life skills that I constantly use and expand as I learn and grow as a person. This includes concepts such as understanding the client’s expectations and concerns, learning how to prioritize, communicating with others on their terms, painting a picture in the mind of your audience, seeing things from the other person’s point of view, and the importance of clarification. Above all, it has taught me to always give the best of myself in all that I do.

My name is Matt Dunnam and I am a professional communicator who inspires action using creative forms of expression. As I look toward my future, my career goal is to use the skills I develop to combine my empathy as professional communicator with my creative drive for production.
